Toonstruck
Does anybody know if Toonstruck is compatible with ScummVM, and would the Dreamcast be able to handle it?
It looks like a realy interesting game with Christopher Lloyd in it.

There is an in development engine for Toonstruck in the development version of ScummVM. I think there might be some info about its state here: http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=9439

It could work, I've downloaded the latest nightly build, 1.3.x and making a bootable image of it now, my question is, how would you fit the game on a CD-R? What could you remove or compress? The games about 1GB

I don't think there are any compression tools available for Toonstruck yet.

I believe the following cd-r brands are known to work on the DC:
Magnavox 800 MB
TDK 800 MB
Memorex 800 MB
Primeon Printable 800 MB
Intenso 900 MB
Mediarange 900 MB
Some of them may be hit & miss, depending on your exact DC model.
How big was the folder containing all the 'required files' only?

There was a thread on the forums here a over a year ago where they were discussing the type of tools needed to compress the Toon formats. I think that there were some legal issues over the ones available, and that they were hopeful that a properly licensed alternative might become available in the future. My guess is no.
Moving on though, I recently submitted a bug to the tracker. Apparently, the engine will not even load at this point, so I would not get to far ahead of ourselves.
Although, I would like to ask one question to anyone who can answer it...
What are the limits to the sizes of the sdisos one can create for the sd card? Is it possible to load certain games over ~700MB in size on the DC through that route?

Theoretically the images can go up to 32gb's, as that is the largest cards that we can use. So I definitely think that sdiso's are the way to go for DVD ports and whatnot. I was hoping this would work for the Myst and Riven ports clone2727 was working on.
You are only limited by the size of your cards really.
